Ferrari World HQ, Abu Dhabi
Ferrari World is a theme park in Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. The park is home to the fastest roller coaster in the world, the Formula Rossa, and various record-breaking rides. The park also features a driving experience and karting academy, a 300,000 m² shopping center, and a marina with 600 moorings. The park is mostly indoors and features more than 20 rides and attractions, great shopping, and authentic Italian dining.
To complete a project in a live environment is always a significant challenge. The project required extensive approvals, design development and strategic planning to minimize any disruption to the operational side of the venue and was fast tracked to ensure it was operational by the critical deadlines set. This office project was delivered under a design and build methodology under a single source negotiated contract. With logistical challenges to overcome it required a comprehensive team of project managers, site supervisors, designers, engineers and specialist trades to ensure this project was a success.
